Privacy

The depot stores the data needed to run projects, releases, moderation, and creator accounts.

This page is a concise operational privacy overview for the TF2C Classified Depot portal. Replace with formal legal text when your site policy is finalized.

Account data

We use account information to authenticate creators, protect sessions, show profile details, and connect users to their projects, releases, reports, messages, and comments.

Upload metadata

Uploaded files store metadata such as owner, project, release, size, hash, scan result, review state, and storage key so the depot can moderate and serve downloads.

Activity data

Downloads, follows, reports, comments, messages, and moderation actions may be logged to support project stats, review history, abuse prevention, and audit trails.

Public content

Published project pages, usernames, display names, descriptions, changelogs, screenshots, links, tags, and license notes may be visible to other users.

Data controls

Creators can manage profile settings, sessions, API tokens, project visibility, archived projects, collections, messages, and notifications from their account dashboard. Moderation logs and safety records may be retained where needed for abuse prevention and audit history.
